Fix First (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our services. We aim to provide a seamless experience from scheduling a Tradesman to the completion of your project. This Refund/Return/Cancellation Policy outlines our approach to addressing any dissatisfaction, refunds, returns (if applicable), and cancellations.

1. Scope of Policy

  • Services Covered: This Policy applies to all services booked through Fix First, including tradesman visits, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

  • No Physical Goods: Since we primarily offer services and do not sell physical goods, “return” provisions are only relevant if any tangible item is provided in connection with our services (e.g., purchased materials).

2. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

  • Satisfaction Commitment: We stand behind the quality of our Tradesmen’s work. If you are not entirely satisfied, please contact us at info@fixfirst.co.uk within [14 days] of service completion.

  • Resolution Methods: We will make every effort to remedy the issue promptly. This may include re-inspection, additional repairs, or further troubleshooting.

3. Refund Eligibility

  1. Full Refund: If we cannot resolve your concerns to your satisfaction, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund of the service fee.

  2. Timeframe: Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the service date.

  3. Exclusions: Refunds may not be granted for issues arising from user-provided materials, pre-existing conditions undisclosed at the time of booking, or changes in project scope that were not communicated to Fix First or the Tradesman beforehand.

  1. Materials Purchased on Your Behalf: If the Tradesman purchases materials on your behalf, returns of those materials are subject to the vendor or supplier’s policies.

  2. Non-Returnable Items: Custom or specialized materials (e.g., cut-to-size goods, paint mixed to a specific code) may not be eligible for return.

  3. Restocking Fees: Some suppliers may charge a restocking fee for returns. If applicable, such fees will be deducted from your refund.

5. Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellation by Customer:

    • If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please do so at least 4 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.

    • Cancellations made after the cutoff may incur a fee, which will be outlined during the booking process or on our website.

  2. Cancellation by Fix First:

    • In rare cases, we may need to cancel or reschedule a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., Tradesman unavailability, severe weather).

    • If we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and either reschedule the service or provide a full refund—whichever you prefer.
